Thank you all for voting! The WhatsOnStage.com Awards came to a Shrektacular close yesterday, with our amazingly talented cast scooping up not one, but two awards! Our very own Lord Farquaad, Nigel Harman, picked up Best Supporting Actor in a Musical and Amanda Holden – who just last week became a mum to a little princess for the second time – won Best Actress in a Musical! Not only that, but as she was unable to attend the ceremony, she was presented her award on the set of Britain’s Got Talent (in Glasgow) by TV ogre… Simon Cowell!

Our new Shrek Dean Chisnall, who takes over the role on 29 February, took to the stage bathed in green light to perform ‘Who I’d Be’ as part of the awards show. He was absolutely incredible and we’re so excited for his first performance!
